 REPORT ON MOTHER EARTH DAY 

(ACTIVITY – QR CODE FOR FLORA)

 Date: 22nd April 2025 

 Venue: PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Samdong

As per the directives received, the school successfully conducted the activity titled “QR Code for Flora” on the occasion of Mother Earth Day. The activity aimed at promoting awareness and digital learning about local plant biodiversity among students.

 Activity Highlights:

Objective: To tag trees, plants, and flowers within the school campus with QR codes that provide information about each species. 

Participants: School Eco Club Members ( Students from Classes VI to Xii, along with science teachers).

 Process:

   Students identified various plants, trees, and flowers in and around the school premises.

  Scientific names, common names, and uses of the plants were researched. 

  QR codes were generated linking to relevant plant information 

  QR codes were printed, laminated, and placed near the respective plants. 

Outcomes:

 Total Number of QR Codes Created: 07
