About PM SHRI

PM SHRI School is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Government of India. This initiative is intended to develop more than 14500 PM SHRI Schools managed by Central Government/State/UT Government/local bodies including KVS and NVS in which every student feels welcomed and cared for, where a safe and stimulating learning environment exists, where a wide range of learning experiences are offered, and where good physical infrastructure and appropriate resources conducive to learning are available to all students.

It will nurture students in a way that they become engaged, productive, and contributing citizens for building an equitable, inclusive, and plural society as envisaged by the National Education Policy 2020.

Our school would like to thank and show gratitude towards Government of India and Department of Education, Government of Sikkim for selecting us and providing PM SHRI schemes to our school for holistic development and qualitative growth of the learners. This scheme specially cater the basic needs and requirements of the school which helps in fostering overall development of child. This scheme provides qualitative and innovative learning system and will be provided to all the students not only of our school children but also covers 24 governments school and 9 private schools of Rakdong Tintek Block under Gangtok district. This will also improve overall enrolment of schools. The main objective of the PM SHRI scheme is to provide financial assistance for to upgrade existing schools in the nation by providing the learners with proper aid so that they can compete with international levels of education around the world. The school authority is committed to implement the scheme with dedication and honesty.
